Long ago, on our first trip to Rhodes we were really lucky: one of the first taxi-drivers we met was George! An experienced driver with a passion for his job, for his luxuary Mercedez AMG, for Rhodes and everything it has to offer. This very friendly man with a big smile and an irresistible positive spirit gives a lot of interesting information in perfect english. On all subsequent trips to Rhodes, he showed us places where most tourists don't go. Together with is daughter Evi, George started GES Travel Agency. This was the next step in his plan to provide tourists with the very best service during their stay on the island of Rhodes. If you are on Rhodes and you need an airport-transfert, a trip by taxi, a well-organized tourist excursion or a day trip adapted to your personal wishes, get in contact with GES Travel Agency. Great Travel Agancy in Rhodes!
We met George at the gate where the ships come into Port. George gave us a personal tour of the area highlights including beaches and the City. G.E.S. Travel is a top notch company. We were lucky to meet George when we disembarked in Rhodes. There may be many drivers offering to provide a tour of the island — YOU MUST SEEK OUT HANDSOME GEORGE! He is a Rhodes native, speaks perfect English and knows exactly how to plan out any itinerary you desire. He also does an excellent job of explaining the history of the island in an interesting and conversational way. He and his daughter, who we had the opportunity to meet, are lovely and caring people who truly put customer experience above all. We had s wonderful day seeing the sites, stopping for photos (he’s a great photographer) and we ended our private tour at a lovely beach front restaurant. He had already arranged for us to have front row loungers and a personal waiter who escorted us to our chairs. It was an unforgettable experience indeed! I’m a New Yorker and have very discerning taste. I would not hesitate to use George and G.E.S. Travel again! In fact, he helped to arrange equally excellent, luxury tours for us in both Crete & Santorini. Amazing Day
We had the most amazing day on our tour of Rhodos! Our driver Vaggelis was clearly passionate about Rhodes, the culture and he told us things we'd never know without a local guide. Van was lovely and modern and we spent the day in luxury travelling to Old town first, then onto some of the best view points ever looking over the North of the island. We continued to Lindos stopping at the most amazing traditional clay pottery. Everything made and painted by hand. It was beautiful. The owner very friendly sharing his home picked and roasted figs. I of course had to purchase some of the beautiful items 😊 St Pauls bay and Lindos are beautiful, but very busy.Vaggelis recommended a place for ice-cream and it didn't disappoint. We had a few hours at our own leisure before heading back to the van. When headed to Haraki where we had the most beautiful lunch at Agro. Fresh caught red snapper was beautiful. We swam in the bay before back to the van heading back towards the resort stopping off at Kalithea springs which was gorgeous. Honestly believe this is the best way to see the island and hear all about the history of this beautiful place. Would not hesitate to book again when we return to Rhodes. Evi was lovely and made the booking process easy, she genuinely cared we had a good day checking in with us afterwards. Lovely family run company ❤️
